The US-Hungary Business Council led its inaugural business mission to Budapest. During the two days in the capital, participating companies met with Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Minister of National Economy Mihály Varga, and Minister of National Development Miklós Seszták.

U.S. Ambassador Colleen Bell also hosted a reception in honor of the USHBC’s visiting delegation.

The mission proved successful in its aim to help U.S. companies develop and maintain strategic alliances with key interlocutors in the Government of Hungary and U.S. Embassy Budapest. In addition to the high-level plenary meetings, each company also met privately with select government stakeholders.
